Today was a day we will never forget!
Our Founder and CEO, Jill Cichowicz, had the powerful opportunity to speak at Baskerville Correctional Center, where she shared Scott’s story and the mission behind 2 End The Stigma with the staff and the incarcerated men in attendance.
We were honored to be joined by our friend, recovery advocate, and Peer Recovery Specialist, Burnic Sprouse, who shared his own deeply moving journey through addiction and into recovery. His words—and the beautiful life he leads today—are a true testament to what is possible through healing and hope.
But the most impactful part of the day came from the men inside. Listening to their stories, hearing their pain, their growth, and their hope for what’s ahead was nothing short of inspiring. We are humbled by their honesty and grateful for the chance to connect, human to human.
Every time we share Scott’s story, we do it with the hope of creating change—and today, we felt that change happening in real time.
We left Baskerville more committed than ever to our mission. These conversations matter. These stories matter. Scott matters.
And we will continue this work—all for him.
