On February 21, 2026, The 9th Annual A Night For Scott brought together community members, advocates, and supporters for an evening dedicated to raising awareness and advancing the mission to end the stigma surrounding substance use disorder.

Held in honor of Scott Zebrowski, the event served as both a tribute to his life and a continued commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by substance use disorder through education, outreach, and meaningful community engagement.

A Shared Commitment to Awareness and Resources

A central focus of the evening was the importance of increasing awareness and providing accessible resources for those who may be struggling. Speakers emphasized the organization’s ongoing efforts to expand prevention education in schools, strengthen community outreach initiatives, and host events that create safe spaces for open dialogue.

These efforts reflect a broader mission to ensure individuals feel supported, informed, and empowered to seek help.

Transforming Loss into Purpose

One of the most powerful themes of the evening was the transformation of personal loss into purposeful action. Remarks highlighted the strength required to channel grief into initiatives that positively impact others, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to saving lives through awareness and advocacy.

This message resonated deeply with attendees and underscored the significance of continued community involvement.

Honoring a Lasting Legacy

Scott Zebrowski’s legacy remains at the heart of the organization’s work. His memory continues to inspire programs and initiatives that promote prevention, education, and recovery support.

Throughout the evening, it was evident that his legacy is not only remembered but actively carried forward through the lives that are being impacted by this mission.

The Importance of Collaboration

Speakers also emphasized the necessity of collaboration across sectors, including education, prevention, and enforcement. Discussions reflected on the importance of collective engagement and the need to identify actionable next steps to further strengthen efforts in addressing substance use disorder within communities.

This collaborative approach remains essential to creating sustainable and effective change.

Measurable Impact

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and community partners, the 9th Annual A Night For Scott successfully raised $81,688.96.

These funds will directly support ongoing initiatives, including prevention education programs, community outreach efforts, and resources for individuals and families affected by substance use disorder. This level of support underscores the community’s commitment to making a meaningful difference.

Continuing the Mission

The evening concluded with a message of gratitude and a renewed commitment to the work ahead. Attendees were encouraged to continue supporting one another, engaging in meaningful conversations, and contributing to efforts that reduce stigma and promote understanding.

The 9th Annual A Night For Scott served as a reminder that while significant progress has been made, the mission continues.

Through ongoing education, advocacy, and community support, meaningful change is possible.
