A Seat at the Table for Change
Our Founder and CEO, Jill Cichowicz, was honored to be invited to attend and actively participate in “Addressing Addiction and Overdose in Central Appalachia”—a Joint HHS/SAMHSA, state, and local symposium designed to advance comprehensive, community-driven strategies for battling the overdose crisis.
Leaders and experts from Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Ohio gathered for powerful discussions and breakout sessions. The event united behavioral health leaders, government officials, recovery specialists, and community advocates to share ideas and develop actionable solutions.
Collaboration at Every Level
The symposium featured strategic panels and interactive breakout groups that tackled pressing issues like:
Community engagement & strategic partnerships
Innovations in prevention, treatment, and recovery services
Data-driven decision making and technology solutions
It was inspiring to see so many mental health experts, recovery allies, and community champions working side by side to create lasting, collaborative change.
Honoring Scott’s Legacy Through Action
Having a seat at the table was a profound reminder that Scott Zebrowski’s story resonates far beyond Virginia. His legacy continues to drive our mission and inspire others to join the fight against substance use disorder and the fentanyl crisis.
The energy and dedication in that room reaffirmed what we know to be true: change happens when passionate people come together.
Looking Ahead
We are deeply grateful for this opportunity and excited to continue partnering with leaders and innovators across Central Appalachia and beyond.
Together, WE WILL continue 2 End The Stigma. 💜💜#AllForScott
