Meet our Planning Committee

Jill Cichowicz,
Planning Committee Chair

Jill’s unwavering commitment is to help individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) by raising awareness about the challenges inherent in overcoming addiction.  Through 2 End the Stigma she seeks to provide education, connection to resources, and the restoration of hope to individuals and families seeking help.  It is in this way she fulfills her desire to create a legacy honoring the life of her twin brother, Scott.

Ginny has been involved with Jill and Scott’s family for more than three decades.  A 2001 graduate of Radford University with a degree in Marketing, Ginny’s expertise in sales, business development and branding strategies has had significant impact on the success of A Night for Scott fundraiser.  Her role on the 2 End the Stigma planning committee was a natural evolution of her involvement.  She lives in Midlothian, VA with her husband and two young children. 

Alden is the Therapy Coordinator for Verity Addiction, a psychiatric practice in Richmond that specializes in addiction medicine. She is a Resident in Counseling, working towards her LPC.  A native Richmonder, Alden earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University of Ohio and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from VCU.  Her work at The McShin Foundation fuels her passion for her work in addiction recovery.

Amy Mead is a Business Intelligence Architect at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and has a BS in Computer Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University. Additionally, Amy is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). She lives in Midlothian, VA, with her husband, Jeff Mead, and their two children. 

Amanda (Mandy) is an analyst at San Diego Gas & Electric Company (SDG&E) in San Diego, CA where she has held several finance related positions since joining the company in 2011.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, and a Masters of Business Administration from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. where she has held several Finance Related positions since joining in 2011.  In addition to her role on the Planning Committee she serves as the Treasurer on the 2 End the Stigma Board of Directors.

Tony is Jill and Scott’s brother and brings his passion for creating a lasting legacy for his brother to his work with 2 End the Stigma.  He has more than 25 years’ experience with Capital One in sales leadership, coaching, team development and project management.  He holds a BS degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters degree from the US Sports Academy.  He lives in Richmond with his wife and 3 children.
