2 End the Stigma (2ETS) was deeply honored to participate in the DEA’s National Family Summit on Fentanyl once again. This vital event brought together families, advocates, and officials to address the devastating impact of the fentanyl epidemic. The summit featured powerful addresses from distinguished dignitaries, including DEA Administrator Anne Milgram and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland. The audience was composed of families who have endured the unimaginable loss of children, siblings, and parents to fentanyl—a poignant reminder of the urgency of this fight.
Founder and CEO of 2ETS, Jill Cichowicz, attended the summit to share the story of her brother Scott and the impactful work that 2ETS carries out in his memory. Jill’s heartfelt testimony not only honored Scott but also underscored the organization’s commitment to educating communities and connecting families to the resources they need to combat this crisis.

Speaking with families who have experienced such profound loss was an emotional experience. Yet, amidst the shared grief, there was also a sense of healing and unity. The courage to share personal stories not only honors those who have been lost but also fuels the ongoing fight against fentanyl’s devastating toll. It is this sense of community and purpose that inspires 2ETS to continue advocating, educating, and striving for change.
