Oh, what a night it was!
We are deeply humbled and honored to share that 2 End The Stigma was recognized by Governor Glenn Youngkin and First Lady Suzanne S. Youngkin with the prestigious Spirit of Virginia Award. This incredible moment shines a light on the work we do every day in honor of our beloved Scott Zebrowski and the countless lives impacted by substance use disorder.
Our Founder and CEO, Jill Cichowicz, delivered a moving message during the award ceremony — speaking bravely and vulnerably about the loss of her twin brother, Scott, to fentanyl poisoning. Sharing her story is never easy, but her courage continues to fuel our mission and inspire others to join the fight against stigma and silence.
We are incredibly proud of the progress we've made in 2024. From community outreach and educational programs to life-saving Narcan training events, our work is driven by purpose and compassion. While we know there’s still much more to do, this recognition reminds us that our efforts are making a difference.
This award isn’t just for us — it’s for Scott, for every life we’ve touched, and for everyone who stands with us. Together, we WILL continue 2 End The Stigma.
