About the event
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid up to 100 times stronger than morphine, and even a few grains can be deadly.At The Dangers of Fentanyl, community advocate Jill Cichowicz (CEO/Founder of 2 End The Stigma) and former NFL player Ken Oxendine (Founder of OX Performance) will share life-saving information and resources for youth, families, and neighbors.
You’ll learn how fentanyl is often hidden in counterfeit pills and other substances, how to recognize the signs of an overdose, and what steps—like using naloxone (Narcan)—can prevent tragedy.
